A Mid Century Home
I embraced this 1960s home in Kent and the owner’s collection of mid-century furniture as an opportunity to showcase my versatility and commitment to finding the soul in every brief.
With my interior architecture approach I first focussed on creating a more open, connected and free-flowing space that let the light flood through by removing some problem walls. I took the Clarence James’ art as inspiration and punctuated the design with black accents and rounded forms to create a design thread referencing the 1960s and linking the rooms throughout the home.
I provided project management services for this project and submitted the Local Authority Building Regulations application.
